The story of creation starts with the words, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” We teamed up with our friends at Ordinary Folk to make a visual poem, hoping to pull out some of the beauty of this ancient story and show it in a fresh way.

A Collaboration between Friends

This personal project was a collaboration between Lasso & Ordinary Folk. Lasso came up with a few ideas, and after deliberating with Ordinary Folk which concept would make the most sense and be the most exciting to bring to life, Lasso storyboarded and created the art for the project. Ordinary Folk then brought the art to life with their talented animation team.
